In 1971, Bud Murphy combined his long experience in drywall and paint industry with a lifelong desire to establish a business that could be shared with family members. Starting with a shoe string budget, a work force consisting of a young son in college and an entire family willing to work for the future success of the business, he gained the trust and respect of major suppliers and others.
